Harry H. Arends

This local railroad is located in the Eastern part of the Netherlands near the German border. During the early 1900’s several local entrepreneurs came together to get the coale cheaper to theire factory’s.

The result was a fine maze of railroads from the Rühr area in Germany into the Netherlands. First only for goods te be transported but later also people where transported becourse more workforce needed that was not found nearby.

In later articles first i will describe the history of this railroad. The reason for this is that the modelRR is moved to a new location in spring. We are building a complete new house.
